Watch carefully for the slightest move of His Spirit
Psalms 123:2 (LITV)
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters;
as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress;
so our eyes wait on Jehovah our God,
until He shows grace to us.
I have been blessed with a camel. He’s a great camel, and gets me where I need to go.
You get attached to a camel when he belongs to you. But sometimes, I wish I had spent a little more money for a better one.
Camels are naturally stubborn. They refuse to get up when they are sitting down. And they won’t sit down if they are standing up.
That is why a camel bridle has a whip on the other end.
You cannot tell how good a camel is by his teeth. It isn’t by how much his ribs stick out. Nor is it by the way he walks.
These things are helpful, but not vital. Every one of them can be improved by how well we take care of our camel.
The only way to know if you have a good camel is to put your saddle on his back and a bridle on his head, and get on!
How hard do you have to pull on his bridle to get him to turn left or right?
The perfect camel just hears the whistle of the wind, and he knows it’s time to advance.
People can be stubborn as well. If God turned me into a camel, what kind of camel would I be? Would I be stubborn, or obedient?
I must learn to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. I must learn to serve Jehovah more quickly. not stubbornly refuse to do what He has given me to do. I must keep my eyes on Him, and watch for the slightest move of His Spirit.
