God targets pride; stay out of the line of fire

Pride puts a big target on our backsIsaiah 2:7-17 (LITV) :

“The lofty eyes of man shall be humbled, and the pride of men shall be bowed down;

I am under His care. He has met my need. I am content and satisfied.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;

I am not afraid. I am at peace. There are no “parasites” bothering me. My hunger has been satisfied. (more…)
